Past Event: Thursday, Dec 14, 2017

Easily the most requested Christmas movie we have on our list, It’s a Wonderful Life is showing at the Egyptian on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 7PM. Often times, Christmas movies are pretty good “for a Christmas movie.” Not so here. It’s a Wonderful Life is a good film by any measure, claiming the #20 spot on AFI’s top 100.

This one’s a Christmas tradition for lots of Boiseans. It’s a Wonderful Life will have you running down Main Street yelling “Merry Christmas” to anyone who’ll listen, even the grouchiest of Mr. Potters. The whole family will want to warm up at the theater. We’ll see you there!

Need a refresher?

Been awhile? Here’s a refresher:
A young George Bailey, overwhelmed by family obligations and a sense of responsibility toward his community, feels tied down to a company he never had an interest in working for, and a life he never wanted to live. As he ages, he sees his youth, dreams and opportunities pass him by. Unknown to George, all of his friends and family have been praying for him to get through those hard times. Told through the point of view of a group of angels, he is met by Clarence his guardian angel, as he contemplates ending his life. –IMDB
