The World’s Best Bike Movies Come to Boise February 22nd
Filmed by Bike, Portland, Oregon’s famed bicycle-themed film festival is making a stop at the Egyptian Theatre Thursday, February 22, 2018. The traveling festival features more than 20 films from all over the world. The Boise showing will be divided into two parts; Bike Love and Adventure Shorts. Sponsored by the Idaho Walk Bike Alliance and Boise GreenBike, the festival raises funds for bike advocacy and equity.

Filmed by Bike started in 2003 as a small fundraiser for bike events and it has been supporting a burgeoning international community of bike-loving filmmakers ever since. Filmed by Bike features the world’s best bike movies with a gigantic film festival every May in Portland, Oregon.

For 32 years, the Twilight has put Boise on the world cycling stage with top women’s and men’s professional race teams competing through the heart of downtown. Local cyclists compete against top amateurs. Kids bike alongside Boise’s three-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Kristin Armstrong.
The Twilight is produced by members and merchants of the Downtown Boise Association and George’s Cycles, because we value a vibrant cycling culture that supports business, tourism, recreation and sustainability in the city we love.

SWIMBA

The Southwest Idaho Mountain Biking Association (SWIMBA) is a volunteer organization dedicated to building and preserving sustainable, innovative, multi-use trail network throughout the southwest Idaho region.” We have been in Treasure Valley for over twenty-five years and either built and/or contributed funding to many of the valley’s popular trails.

Boise Aeros

Since 1995, the Boise Aeros Multisport Club has had a presence in Boise Idaho. Our club serves athletes of all ages, abilities & interests with organized group workouts, cycling events, spring bike camp and club meetings. Our members have participated in some truly epic events – we would love to have you join the fun!
